As you can see, most of these tools are self-explanatory.
However, let me expand on the PAS, AIDA, and QUEST formulas. You might not know what those mean.
They are classic copywriting formulas:
- PAS—Problem, Agitation, Solution is a classic formula for persuasive writing. It’s often used to market products or services. You bring up a common customer problem, agitate it with a statistic or story, then offer the solution.
- AIDA—Attention, Interest, Desire, Action aims to get the reader to take a desired action, such as buying a product or signing up for a service. You grab attention with a headline or opening sentence, introduce the product and/or benefits, create desire, then tell the reader what to do next.
- QUEST—Qualify, Understand, Educate, Stimulate, Transition is a copywriting formula for articles, reports, and white papers. You start by qualifying the reader, then explaining the topic in detail. After you’ve educated the reader, you stimulate them to take action. Finally, you transition into your next point or call to action.
What Is Copymatic? (Blogging Tools Explained)
As a blogger who runs a portfolio of websites, my favorite tools not surprisingly revolve around creating blog content.
What I really love is how Copymatic walks you step-by-step through creating a blog post.
Copymatic will automatically create:
- A blog title
- A blog intro
- A blog outline
- And (get this) a paragraph for every one of the headlines in the outline
That kind of blew me away.
In a matter of a few mouse clicks, you can have between 300-600 words of content 100% written by the AI writer.
Each section of the long-form blog post is split into “blocks” similar to WordPress.
That way, you can generate more content for each section.
You can even move sections around (again, like WordPress).
The most unique tool that I haven’t seen yet on any other AI-writing software is the “Rewrite with Keyword” feature.
That’s really cool.
I love the option to generate SEO-optimized original content.
Here is an in-depth video where I go inside the Copymatic AI software to show you what it is and how it works:
What Is Copymatic? (Real AI-Generated Examples)
The best way to understand Copymatic is probably to see real examples.
In this section, I’m going to share multiple examples 100% autogenerated by Copymatic.
Personally, I was delighted with the results.
Example #1: Copymatic Blog Post Writer Tool
I asked Copymatic to write a blog post about AI-writers.
Here is part of the result:
AI-writers are gaining traction. They are trained in sensing emotional pressure, relevance, and context by using information such as sentence length, repetition, punctuation, and onomatopoeia.
This makes their work similar to that of a human writer without the mental exhaustion or emotional strain of creating it all from scratch.
There are a number of benefits to using AI in your blog post.
The first is that you don’t have time constraints—free time is the ultimate necessity for any blogger. A blog with enough content can take hours, and that’s time not spent on other aspects of your blog like following up with contacts or expanding your site by linking to other high-quality sites.
Using AI can also help resolve writer’s block—too many bloggers struggle with finding the right words to use, worrying about grammar mistakes, and making their content sound natural for the reader.
Example #2: Copymatic FAQ Tool
I asked Copymatic to generate a list of frequently asked questions about the keyword tool, LowFruit.io.
Here are the results:
- What is the need for LowFruit.io?
- How do I sign up for a LowFruit account?
- What are the benefits of the tool?
- What is the difference between LowFruit and SEMrush?
- What makes LowFruit.io better than other keyword tools like Google Keyword Planner or Ahrefs?
Example #3: Copymatic About Us Tool
I asked Copymatic to write About Us content for the Passive Income Geek blogging program.
This is the output:
We are Passive Income Geek, a blogging program that teaches you how to build profitable websites from start to finish.
At the core of what we do are our course and member community. It’s where you’ll find useful content and be able to network with other bloggers in a supportive online setting.

Here is a good article I wrote about my personal experience with the Passive Income Geek program.
Example: #4: Copymatic Product Description Tool
To test this tool, I wanted Copymatic to write a product description of Shine Ranker, an SEO and keyword research tool.
Copymatic produced this description:
Shine Ranker is an SEO platform and tool that makes keyword research fast and easy. With a few clicks, you can find out which keywords your competitors are ranking for in search engines, what articles they’ve written, where they rank on the search engine results page, and so much more.
How Does Copymatic Work?
Like many other AI-writing tools, Copymatic is based on the GPT-3 model.
This type of natural language processing (NLP) model is a neural network trained to identify language syntax. It starts by breaking down a sentence into smaller parts, or tokens, and then reassembling them.
This allows the tool to understand grammar rules, idioms, and other quirks of the English language.
Therefore, Copymatic is not scraping content or spinning content.
Instead, Copymatic produces original text based on sophisticated machine-learning algorithms.
After running Copymatic content through my paid plagiarism checker, I can confidently say that Copymatic is not plagiarizing other websites.
Copymatic passed the plagiarism checker with flying colors.
Who Is Copymatic For?
Copymatic is for anyone who writes any kind of content.
For example:
- Writers
- Authors
- Bloggers
- Advertisers
- Affiliate marketers
- eCommerce sites
- Email marketers
- YouTubers
- Podcasters
- Students
- Business professionals
- Freelancers
Basically, anyone who needs to write anything or produce content for their platform.
Who Is Copymatic Not for?
Copymatic is not for anyone who does not want to edit or fact-check the content.
Copymatic (and most other AI writers) are good but they are not perfect.
If you are someone who expects the tool to do all of the heavy lifting, then you are probably going to end up severely disappointed.
What Can Copymatic Not Do?
Copymatic is a powerful software for writers but it can’t do everything.
Copymatic can not produce 100% error-free blogs in 30 seconds. You’ll still need to fact-check and review the content for spelling and grammar issues.
Copymatic can not rewrite an entire blog post at once.
You can only rewrite a single paragraph at a time.
Copymatic can also not write in any tone of voice. In a few tools, you can choose from five different tonal styles.
Those styles are:
- Professional
- Childish
- Luxurious
- Friendly
- Confident
Copymatic does not currently offer the ability to make stylistic changes to your text (bold, italicize, underline, etc).
The way they think, most bloggers will add those stylistic preferences once they copy and paste the text into WordPress.
Or their other content management platform.
Copymatic vs. Other AI Writers
I’ve tried many AI writers on the market. How does Copymatic stack up against the best of the best?
First of all, Copymatic is better than most other AI writers currently available.
Let’s find out how Copymatic compares to two popular powerhouses like Jarvis and Rytr.
Copymatic vs. Jarvis (Now known as Jasper)
I have personally used both AI-writers. Both are good and worth your investment.
In a head-to-head comparison, Jasper is the winner for me.
Jasper produces better content consistently and offers even more tools. With Jasper, you can use an unlimited number of tonal styles, produce content faster, and stylize your content (bold, italicize, bullet points, etc).
Jasper also allows you to insert links and images.
Finally, Jasper gives you access to all tools directly from their long-form writer, provides recipes, and integrates with Surfer SEO to help you rank on Google.
Copymatic may add some of these features in the future.
I know they will eventually include SEO scores, a plagiarism checker, and a landing page generator—all super helpful features.
Until then, here are a few blog posts written by Jarvis/Jasper:
Copymatic vs. Rytr
Copymatic beats out Rytr.
The reason is that Copymatic offers a larger suite of tools, better content, and a much cleaner interface. I really like the user-friendliness of Copymatic.
Copymatic is my current second favorite AI-writing tool behind Jasper. Rytr is third in line.
Rytr offers:
- Lower-cost unlimited plan (but there may be some reduction in content quality—you’ll have to test it for yourself)
- Bold, italicize, underline, align, and insert images and links
- The ability to create your own tool (use cases)
It really depends on your budget and how much you care about the look and feel of the AI writer.
Plus, Copymatic will likely continue to upgrade its tools and features.
How Much Does Copymatic Cost? (Price Chart)
Copymatic currently offers two pricing tiers, Starter and Pro.
Here is the monthly pricing breakdown:
Copymatic Plan | Price |
---|---|
Starter | $29 |
Pro | $49 |
In the starter plan, you get 1,000 credits. For roughly $20 more per month, you get unlimited credits.
If you write a lot of content, I highly suggest the Pro plan.
Is Copymatic Free?
Copymatic offers a very limited free trial with up to 10 credits. You will only be able to generate a few paragraphs of text during your free trial.
However, you can always upgrade to the Starter or Pro plan for a month for further testing.
There is very little risk because you can cancel anytime.
What Is the Copymatic Lifetime Deal?
Copymatic does not currently offer a lifetime deal.
However, you can sign up for the unlimited plan and pay for it monthly. That way, you save time and can create as much content as possible.
Keep an eye out for price changes, coupons, and special lifetime deals.
6 Best Copymatic Alternatives
If you’re looking for Copymatic alternatives, I’ve created a simple chart below:
Best Copymatic Alternatives | Price |
---|---|
Jasper | Get the best price |
Rytr | Get the best price |
WriterSonic | Get the best price |
INK | Get the best price |
Persado | Get the best price |
PepperType AI | Get the best price |
After testing close to 10 of the best AI writers on the market, Jasper AI is still my favorite Copymatic alternative.
My Copymatic Review (Copymatic Pros and Cons)
Now that I’ve spent some time with Copymatic, my initial impression is that I like it.
Here is a chart with the pros and cons:
Copymatic Pros | Copymatic Cons |
---|---|
Beautiful interface | Limited free trial |
Intuitive design | No stylistic options (bold, italics, bullet points, etc) |
Reasonably priced | No annual payment option |
Offers 50+ Tools | No lifetime deal |
Unlimited credits plan | No recipes (user-generated use-cases with commands) |
It seems like a good AI writer with some unique features.
As far as the pros, I’d say that Copymatic can quickly compose half or 1/3 of a complete blog post very quickly.
The AI tool has a good, intuitive design that I really appreciate.
For the price, I think Copymatic is well worth it—especially the pro plan with unlimited credits.
Copymatic also offers a WordPress plugin.
You can use the AI writer directly inside of your WordPress site, which is super helpful for us bloggers.
There are also some downsides that I didn’t like.
For me, the cons were limited tonal styles, no text stylization (bold, italics, bullet points, etc), and the lack of integration of all the tools into the long-form writer/editor.
One thing I’m not sure about: Both the standard and the pro pricing tiers mention a forthcoming feature called “Website Generation.”
My understanding is that this will be an autogenerated unique landing page.
As I mentioned earlier, you can also look out for the integration of an SEO score and plagiarism checker directly into the AI system.
Final Thoughts: What Is Copymatic?
I’m glad I tried Copymatic.
I’ll keep checking in with Copymatic to see what new tools and features they release in the future.
If you’re a writer of any kind, I suggest that you give it a try.
