Basic

After playing with the tool, I recommend that you enter:
- Details on the subject (person, place, thing)
- Describe the mood you want
- Mention the lighting
- Use modifiers such as 4k, 8k, realistic, and detailed
- Include if you want a closeup, wide-angle, or panoramic view
You place commas in-between your descriptive words and phrases.
I found that the more descriptive I am, the better. Also, shorter and more concise instructions seem to help. It takes a bit of time to learn the “language” of Jasper AI Art.

Advanced
In the advanced option, you get even more text inputs:
- Image description (open text box where you can write up to 400 characters)
- Style (choose from 14 artistic styles, such as Pop Art or Anime)
- Medium (select from 15 artistic mediums, such as Canvas or Pastel)
- Artist Style (choose from a list of 8 famous artists like Van Gogh)
- Mood (select a mood for your image)
- Keywords (input any specific keywords you want Jasper to use when formulation the image)
Done For You (DFY)
In the DFY option, you let Jasper generate a text description for your image.
However, there’s a bit more to it than that.

Jasper AI Art is based on the DALL-E model (with some extra modeling and training mixed in to make it its own thing).

The two AI art generators, Jasper AI Art and DALL-E, are pretty evenly matched in terms of the quality of images produced.

The biggest feature is that Jasper AI Art appears to be better at generating faces (a huge AI problem).
This gives it a slight edge over DALL-E in terms of image quality.
However, DALL-E is the bigger and better-known AI art generator, so it still has an advantage over Jasper AI Art in terms of community and support.
Jasper Art vs. Midjourney
When it comes to image generators, Jasper AI Art and Midjourney are two of the best.
Both offer a great user experience, with Midjourney edging out Jasper in terms of pricing.

Jasper has a much better community (in my opinion).

If you’re looking for simplicity and affordability, Midjourney is the better option.
